Different lots may use hourly, daily, or event-related pricing. Online quotes often omit the date and type of vehicle. Confirm the current tariff directly with a facility or operator, ideally on the day of travel, rather than building your budget around an old screenshot.
Ask where the entrance actually is
A map pin may identify the building but not the lot entrance or permitted vehicle approach. Ask whether overnight parking is allowed, whether the facility is staffed, and what payment methods are accepted.
Do not count on finding a spot instantly
Weekend and holiday demand can change how much time you spend circulating. Leave room in your plan for a parking search, the walk into town, and the return to your vehicle.

Compare other transportation
Driving gives you flexibility, but a planned day trip or private transfer may eliminate parking and navigation altogether.
